Department of Specialized Treatment

Our Department of Specialized Treatment treats the diversity of issues that can arise in one’s body, such as general physical complaints or even ailments of the autonomic nervous system, by using “traditional therapy” that has been conveyed throughout the corners of the earth to strengthen the patient’s immune system and natural healing ability. As necessary, we also cooperate with various medical institutions, in areas like internal medicine, cardiology and neurosurgery, in order to grasp each patient’s condition and advance therapy based on contemporary medicine. In this way, patients can receive their treatment with absolute confidence. And, after first thoroughly inquiring about their condition, we also take the patient's wishes into consideration when choosing and providing the optimal approach from such techniques as acupuncture, moxibustion and chiropractic.

1. Acupuncture and moxibustion
Acupuncture and moxibustion are traditional Eastern medicinal treatments that originated in ancient China and have a history of use of over three millennia. They are safe, present no side effects, and their goal is to strengthen the patient’s own immune system, i.e., the natural healing ability that humans inherently possess. Through stimulation of acupuncture points with needles or moxa (made from dried mugwort), the action of internal organs, autonomic nerves, and hormones is regulated. By thus activating each organ and promoting the patient’s overall metabolism and blood circulation, results can be expected in the treatment and prevention of illness and in improving their physical condition.
2. Chiropractic
“Chiropractic” is the corrective treatment of the spinal column that has its origins in ancient Egypt and Greece and was resurrected in the United States around the end of the 19th century. The aim is to properly align the pelvis and spine without any accompanying pain, by contorting the body, achieving a better posture, and thus promoting that person’s inherent natural healing ability.

Poor posture places a burden on various body parts, such as the knees and hips and even on internal organs and nerves. As a result, it becomes a concealed cause of joint pain and internal disease. Our original “chiropractic therapy” relieves the burden that is placed on joints and internal organs and promotes natural healing by correcting the patient’s posture, so that they can expect a marked effect not only on improving pain but also on a variety of other ailments as well. A clear correlation with improving athletic performance has also been proven.
* Since X-rays are taken at an affiliated hospital, we request that you bring your insurance certificate to your first visit.
3. Manual therapy
This type of therapy mainly involves intensive treatment of a specific body part. We often combine various techniques according to the patient’s needs or request in order to create a unique treatment program. Use of the “acupuncture and moxibustion” and “chiropractic therapy” options mentioned above, as well as cooperation with our Department of Osteopathy, may also be combined with this manual therapy.
4. Specialized therapy
Specialized therapy involves original treatment at our facility for those conditions and diseases that cannot be cured with medicines (i.e., ailments that do not improve with Western medical treatments), and it unites Eastern medical thought with the manual therapies supported in Europe (especially in Germany and France). It is effective in treating a variety of ailments, such as internal diseases, psychogenic disease, autonomic imbalance, asthma, and even in breech deliveries. If any of the following applies to you, please do not hesitate to come in and ask for a consult:
  • I’m going to the hospital, but my condition has not improved.
  • I have a question or concern in regard to my present medical treatment.
  • I’d like to get better without taking medicine or would like to reduce the quantity of medicine I take.
